12/22/07: Oklahoma!
Another "Jail" venue wraps in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This was my home for the past 6 weeks and it
was an adventure, to say the least. In addition to working in a jail for a month and a half, I weathered an ice storm that shutdown the city. Thankfully, my hotel got its power back up and running after 10 hours. But, some Okies were not as fortunate and many of them were without power for up to two weeks.
Well, Christmas time is almost upon us and I'm going to make the most of my two weeks off. Merry Chistmas and Happy Holidays, everyone!

10/27/07: That's A Wrap For Orange County Jail!
Now that it's over, I can finally reveal that I've been working the past five weeks in Orange County, California for the show "Jail". It was an interesting experience, to say the least. The sheriff's deputies are a colorful bunch and I will miss them. They treated our crew very well and even went as far as grilling food for us at the jail. Mmmm... tasty brats!

Orange County Jail Crew
It seemed our crew left an impression on the deputies because they paid us the highest form of flattery. On one of our work days, we went on break and left the jail to go eat at a nearby restaurant. While we were away, a few of the deputies got busy making television equipment out of paper bags, masking tape, and whatever other office supplies they had on hand. Our break ended and we drove back to the jail. As we crossed the threshold into the Central Booking area, we were bombarded by three deputies and all of their paper creations. They pointed their paper camera and microphone at us as if we were the inmates and they were doing a story on us! It was a hysterical site and totally unexpected. I don't think I'll ever forget that moment. Here are a few pictures of what we walked into...

08/24/07: Dare I Say It?
I received an e-mail a few days ago from a producer I worked with this summer. And, it looks like... I may be going back to "Jail" before the end of the year!
Speaking of "Jail", the shows started airing on Court TV this month under the title, "Inside American Jail". My footage may be appearing on Aug. 30th. Tune in and see if you can spot my name in the credits. If you've missed the last few episodes, have no fear... the show will begin again on MyNetworkTV on Sep. 4th under the title, "Jail". Check your local listings for dates and times.

08/18/07: Suessical - Music That Won't Get Out Of My Head!
This week wraps three days of shooting with Get-Reel Videography at Pepperdine University. We filmed a live stage performance of the musical... "Seussical" (based on the works of Dr. Seuss). The performance included a large cast of children all under high school age. They did a fantastic job and I was personally impressed by the production values. Now, I just wish I could stop humming the tunes. Never before, have I encountered music so catchy.
07/27/07: Tori Spelling!
This Friday, July 27th and all next week, I will be shooting the reality series "Tori & Dean: Inn Love" (Season 2). The show is about Tori Spelling and her husband Dean McDermott, as they open a Bed & Breakfast in Fallbrook, CA. I don't know which episode will feature my particular footage, so tune in each week and try to spot my name in the credits.
The show airs Tuesdays at 10:30p/9:30C on the Oxygen Network. For more information on the show, please visit:

07/17/07: Michelin Challenge Design
As soon as I returned from Texas, I worked for two days in Pasadena filming the Michelin Challenge Design.
Michelin offers a challenge to designers around the world, individuals and small and large companies, to enthusiastically create, bring forward and display, significant design work that would normally not have an opportunity to be shown at a major auto show. 07/14/07: Bailed Out Of "Jail"
I made it back to Los Angeles in one piece. Whew! I only suffered three attacks from agitated arrestees, which included getting spit at, a headbutt to the camera and a kick to the stomach. It sounds worse than it was.
In actuality, my experiences in Travis County were positive and educational. The people I met there were fantastic. They took care of our crew, made us feel safe and even prepared home cooked meals throughout our stay. The show promises to be action packed. You will not believe some of the stories we captured.
Tune in this September to see the show. It will air on My Network TV (formerly, UPN) and Court TV. No official times and dates have been set.

05/31/07: I'm Going To "Jail"
Langely Productions ("Cops") has hired me to shoot their newest television series for Court TV called "Jail". This is quite the departure from the pageants. Pray for me. All kidding aside, I'm really looking forward to this job. It's an awesome opportunity and I can't wait to get started.
